Ductwork Services in Katy & Fulshear, TX

We Clean, Seal, or Replace Ducts—Only When You Can See Why

Your ducts are the hidden highways of your HVAC system. Leaky, dirty, or damaged ductwork wastes energy and hurts air quality. But we don't recommend work without showing you the evidence first.

Signs Your Ductwork May Need Attention

These symptoms can indicate duct problems—but they can also have other causes. We diagnose before we prescribe.

Comfort Issues

  • Rooms consistently hotter or colder than others
  • Weak airflow from certain vents
  • System runs long but doesn't satisfy

Air Quality Concerns

  • Visible dust discharge from vents
  • Musty or stale odors when system runs
  • Increased allergy symptoms at home

Physical Signs

  • Whistling or rattling noises from ducts
  • Visible duct damage, gaps, or disconnections
  • Crushed or kinked flex duct sections

Ductwork Services We Provide

Each service is recommended only when documented evidence supports it.

Duct Cleaning

Professional removal of dust, debris, and contaminants from accessible duct sections.

  • Before/after documentation
  • Safe cleaning methods matched to duct type
  • Recommended only when buildup is confirmed

Duct Sealing

Sealing joints, boots, and connections where air leaks are confirmed.

  • Reduces energy waste from duct leakage
  • Improves system performance
  • Recommended only when leaks are documented

Duct Repair & Replacement

Repairing damaged sections or replacing undersized/failing ductwork.

  • Fix crushed, disconnected, or damaged runs
  • Correct undersized sections affecting airflow
  • Insulation repair where missing or compromised

Airflow Balancing

Adjusting dampers and addressing restrictions for even temperature distribution.

  • Improve comfort in problem rooms
  • Add or adjust returns/supplies when supported
  • Based on documented airflow measurements

How We Diagnose Duct Problems

We don't guess—we inspect, measure, and document before recommending any work.

1

Visual Inspection

Inspect visible duct runs for damage, kinks, disconnections, and insulation condition. Check plenums, takeoffs, and boots for gaps and air leaks.

2

Airflow Assessment

Observe airflow at supplies and returns. Note rooms with poor air delivery. Check for obvious restrictions or crushed flex sections.

3

Contamination Check

Assess accessible sections for dust buildup, debris, or contamination that would warrant cleaning.

4

Document & Explain

Document findings with photos and video before recommending cleaning, sealing, or replacement. You see what we see.

What We Will NOT Sell You

Duct work is often oversold. Here's what we refuse to do:

❌ Duct cleaning if ducts are already clean

❌ Sealing claims without confirmed leaks

❌ Duct replacement without visible damage or airflow evidence

❌ Add-on products unrelated to documented duct issues

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my ducts need cleaning?
Look for visible debris at registers, musty odors when the system runs, or excessive dust in your home despite regular cleaning. We inspect accessible sections and document any buildup before recommending cleaning. If ducts are reasonably clean, we'll tell you.
Can duct sealing fix uneven room temperatures?
Only if leaks or design issues are the actual cause. Uneven temperatures can also result from equipment problems, insulation issues, or duct sizing. We diagnose the root cause before recommending sealing—it's not always the answer.
Do you replace all ducts by default?
No. Replacement is limited to damaged, improperly sized, or failing sections. If your ducts are in reasonable condition, we'll tell you. We don't recommend full duct replacement unless documented evidence supports it.
Will duct cleaning damage my ducts?
Not when done properly. We use cleaning methods appropriate to your duct type and condition. If cleaning would risk damage (such as with very old or deteriorated ductwork), we'll advise you and discuss alternatives.
Can you add vents to improve airflow?
Only when sizing and layout support it and a restriction is documented. Adding vents without addressing underlying issues can actually make problems worse. We assess the whole system before recommending changes.
What if only one room has poor airflow?
We inspect that specific duct branch for kinks, disconnections, sizing issues, or obstructions. The solution might be as simple as straightening a crushed flex run, or it might require more extensive repair. We document what we find before recommending anything.

See What We See

We document duct condition, airflow observations, and any leaks or blockages with photos and video. Recommendations for cleaning, sealing, or replacement are made only after you can see the evidence yourself.
